Top workplace for women found in water in southeast Melbourne

For the third year running, South East Water has been recognised as a top workplace for women in 2025 by Work180. 

For the third year running, South East Water has been recognised as one of Work180’s 101 top workplaces for women in 2025. 

To mark International Women’s Day, the Herald Sun has published the list from Work180, an organisation that assesses workplace policies, benefits, and initiatives that drive gender equality.  

Those listed in the top 101 best workplaces for women are recognised as leaders across 10 workplace standards that help create a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace.  

Work180 scored organisations on 10 workplace standards, including inclusive hiring processes, flexible working arrangements, career development, an inclusive and anti-discriminatory culture, and strategic commitments to equality.  

South East Water Managing Director Lara Olsen said the Company is incredibly proud to be named on the list, which includes many other inspiring and highly respected organisations.   

“Around 48 per cent of our employees are women, and we’re truly focused on supporting the careers, health and wellbeing at South East Water – through ensuring inclusion and equality, adequate recognition and reward and the representation of women at senior levels and empowerment, through our programs and policies.
