Central Highlands Water (CHW) has reached a significant milestone: 1000 Snap Send Solve reports, highlighting its commitment to providing reliable services to the communities it serves.

Through the Snap Send Solve app, customers can quickly photograph a problem, add some basic details, and send it via the app. Each Snap notifies CHW about water-related issues, ranging from sewer blockages to burst water mains and beyond. The information provided through Snap Send Solve reports is directed to the appropriate team for action, with the customer kept informed of the progress and when the work is completed.

“Supporting our customers is extremely important to us,” said Jeff Haydon, CHW’s Managing Director. “Our partnership with Snap Send Solve has made it even easier for our customers to report faults, like a water main leak, and for our maintenance team, to be better equipped when attending a job, already knowing the extent of the problem they’re needing to solve.”

With an over 90 per cent Solve rate and a 4.45/5 star rating for speed to Solve, CHW pride themselves on delivering exceptional customer and community value when addressing reported issues. The CHW team works tirelessly to ensure Snaps are swiftly assessed and resolved to minimise disruptions and ensure the continuous delivery of services.

“The achievement of 1000 Snaps isn’t just a number; it’s a testament to the power of community collaboration in optimising our networks and safeguarding our water resources,” Haydon said.

Customers can download the app and report via the CHW or Snap Send Solve websites. A report can be completed in as little as 30 seconds. The app is free to use and offers full accessibility support, including voice-over, assistive touch, and displays. It is also multilingual.

A range of other local service providers, including local councils, supermarket retailers, Australia Post, Telstra, Parks Victoria and the Environment Protection Authority also actively use Snap Send Solve’s technology to simplify the reporting of local community issues.

“Using Snap Send Solve is the quickest and easiest way to report water issues in Ballarat and the surrounding areas,” said Snap Send Solve’s CEO, Danny Gorog. “The free Snap Send Solve app makes it easy to notify the right people about issues in the community and makes it easier for the correct authorities to address these issues. This year alone, Snappers who reported issues to Central Highlands Water have told us 96 per cent of Snaps sent have been Solved. It’s great to see the community helping make our shared spaces safe, clean, and great to be in.”
