Lower Murray Water Chair Sharyon Peart has today announced the appointment of the organisation’s new Managing Director, Paul Northey.
Lower Murray Water Chair Sharyon Peart has today announced the appointment of the organisation’s new Managing Director, Paul Northey.
“After undertaking a rigorous assessment and interview process, we believe we have found an excellent person for the job,” said Peart.
“Paul brings exceptional skills, leadership and capabilities to the role. He will be pivotal in continuing to develop and enhance our organisation and the services that we provide to the region.”
“Paul comes to Lower Murray Water with over 25 years experience in the Victorian water industry in both the urban and rural sectors. A qualified engineer with master’s degrees in engineering and business administration, he has held senior executive roles in project and service delivery, corporate strategy, planning and sustainability.” She said
Most recently, Mr Northey was employed by the Victorian Department of Transport and Planning as the Senior Executive for Regional Transport.
“I have spent my entire career living and working in regional Victoria, and I understand what is important to regional communities. I am looking forward to strengthening my knowledge of the Lower Murray region and ensuring we deliver a high-class customer experience for our urban and rural customers,” said Northey
Paul will commence on 1st August 2023.
