Digitization also enables the integration of disparate data sources, allowing water utilities to make more informed decisions about managing their assets and responding to changing conditions. It will allow water utilities to engage with customers in new ways, such as through real-time usage monitoring, online bill payment and customer portals that provide access to personalised water usage data and conservation tips.

What does this mean?

The May/June edition of Inside Water will focus on digitisation in Australia.

The issue will include specialised content on smart water meters, customer leak detection systems, IoT hardware, software developments, and customer management.
